Girls Inc. of New York City was featured in amNewYork for receiving a $1 million grant from Google.org to support a project aimed at helping young women in underserved communities become financially literate. This initiative will provide essential financial education and resources to empower young women in making informed economic decisions, including through the creation distribution of the first of its kind financial education mobile app for teen girls.
